I am the mother to 7 children, and 2 years ago I was able to finally break free from a very abusive marriage, yet in doing so I found that when I left the abuse I also left everything. I have been struggling everyday since. I have been forced to quit several jobs after a few days as to transportation being a severe issue for me.a few months ago a friend of mine invited me to come to NC to stay with her and her children while her husband deployed to Iraq, for me to get on my feet,and she promised to help me all she could, so I agreed and she came and picked me and my children up. Upon my arrival I was in shock to find a could be beautiful home in major distress, very filthy animal feces covering the flooring, mold overtaking the kitchen, it was unlike anything I have ever seen. I just cried in shock of seeing what I brought my children too. I moved my 7 children and I into 1 bedroom and I started cleaning, 2 months later yes I have the home livable, and I have actively been job searching on the internet, I am 15 minutes from town, and the only vehicle available is hers of which she claims she needs everyday even though theres been days it hasnt moved…I feel as if Im trapped in a world I cannot control, and Im at a loss. I have looked online trying to find a cheap car that at least ran for a couple hundred dollars and I have failed. I know with a vehicle I would be able to secure employment and try to rebuild my childrens lives. Thank you & God bless

to all so involved in helping needy individuals getting a car. i seek a free car, automatic, good running condition. i am age
69merely able to pay for my rent? receiving us$805on ssi income constantly being reduced?. my rent is us$675, my utilities is us$130permonth? i am being helped with free food at this time. i do need a car to help me go shopping and to start a book and music business. if anyone can help please do call me

I have a son marcos gonzalez that is in and out of the ER and hosp at the age of 14 he sart having kidney stones and infections now he is 26 i have no way to get him to Dr he has knowmedcal insurance and now i have to take him to riverside medical center and have no car to do that can u help me he has a tub comeing out of his kinney thanke you

My family situation is bad, currently. My mother has been sick for the past 7 years with COPD and cervical cancer, and she gets one Social Security check on the first of the month. We used to have the added income of my step-dad working, but he moved out and now my mom and I have to live on her one check. We don’t have a car, so we have to rely on neighbors to take us to the store, but lately that’s not been enough. We can’t rely on them forever. I graduated from high school this year, and I need to get a job to bring in more income, since I was recently put on probation. The added cost of that is making it impossible for us to save money for a vehicle of our own. We live out in Pleasant Valley, far from the inner city, and since we don’t have a car my job opportunities are slim to none. I started this website to help people just like you, so you know that there are options and to help you find charities that may give you a car.
You should try to contact the websites above, they may be able to help you, or direct you to some one who can.
I have also edited your comment not to reveal private information, but I left you email so some of my readers may contact you if they can help.

My name is Cindy, and l am coming to you in hope you can help my husband and I. This is difficult for me to do but l feel l have no other choice. My husband is going threw cancer treatments. The Cancer first started on the back of his neck and , now it has spreaded to his lower body. He is in stage 3 now.He is going for treatments and it is very hard on him. We are having some rough times now. Our problem is that we do not have a car so l can be with my husband. See l am in Cornwall and he is living in Massena Ny and going for treatment there.I do not have work for me in Massena. I have to work in Cornwall, Ont. each day.It is in Canada on the border. My husband is American and l am Canadian.We have been married for year years now. l am unable to travel back and forth to be with him each day because l do not have a car. l can not afford to take a taxi to come back and forth,therefore l am stuck in Cornwall until we have money to take a taxi once a month. I did once have a car but it was to old and costly to repair so l had to sale it. Robert is too ill to work now. If it is possible for us to get a car that is donated, that would be wonderful. We would be so ever grateful.We have been trying by contacting every were but keep hitting brick walls with no help. It is causing alot of stress now for us, since l can not spend the time l want with him. Robert said to me that he does not want to go threw this alone and it hurts me to hear him say that. So if you are able to help in any way l would be so grateful to you.I husband is scared and upset about having to be alone most of the time because of the car situation. He says he does not want to go threw this alone but it is unfortunate that this is the way it is until we are able to get a car. So Please if there is anyway you can help, we would be so grateful to you.

I am a 68 years old senior and in need an automobile for my Medical health and non profit ministry to continue to help seniors, and cancer victims, as I am a 42 years & 32 years cancer survivor. I appeal to you to continue the work to know that “Cancer is not Death but Living After” and I am Living Proof. I need transporation for my health to get to appointments to stay healthy and keep helping others. Your Geherousity is very much appreciated.
